Patient Resource Center

Everything you need. Before and after.

One page for the whole arc of your surgery — how to get here, who drives you home, what to bring, how to prepare, and exactly what to watch for while you heal. When any instruction here differs from what your surgical team tells you directly, their instructions win.

Your driver & your first 24 hours

The ruleAfter anesthesia you may not drive yourself home, take a rideshare alone, or leave unaccompanied. A responsible adult drives you home and a responsible adult stays with you for the first 24 hours.
Surgery dayYour driver checks in with you, stays reachable by phone for the entire day, and receives your discharge instructions in person.
Traveling in?The villa’s private overnight guest suites exist for exactly this — ask the consult team when you schedule.

What to bring

BringPhoto ID, your paperwork, a written list of every medication and supplement you take, glasses and a case (no contact lenses), phone and charger.
WearLoose, front-opening clothing and slip-on shoes. No makeup, lotion, deodorant or fragrance on surgery day.
Leave homeJewelry, piercings, valuables, and anything you would mind losing.

How the day flows

ArriveAt the time confirmed by the surgical team — it is set for your specific case, not a general clinic opening.
PrepareCheck-in, pre-operative preparation, and a final review with your surgeon and anesthesia provider.
RecoverYou wake in recovery under one-to-one observation, then discharge to your driver — or upstairs to a guest suite when that’s the plan.
