A short drive from Broken Arrow to the consult

Tulsa Surgical Arts sits at 7322 E 91st St in Tulsa, about six miles from Broken Arrow in a straight line. Drive time will depend on your route, but the distance is modest. Free on-site parking is available, and you can pull directly to the entrance on surgery day for drop-off and pick-up.

Our office hours run Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can call 918-392-7900, text us, or book online. The consultation is where the real work begins — your surgeon examines your anatomy, discusses implant options, and helps you decide what fits your frame and your goals.

If you prefer to see results before you visit, our patient gallery shows real patients photographed the same way before and after surgery. Individual results vary, but the gallery gives you a concrete sense of proportion and shape.

What breast augmentation actually involves

Breast augmentation adds size and shape using an implant — a soft shell filled with either saline (salt water) or silicone gel. The implant sits behind the breast tissue or behind the chest muscle. Which placement is right depends on your anatomy and the plan you build with your surgeon during your consultation.

In the operating room, the incision is most commonly placed within the natural fold beneath the breast, keeping the resulting scar as discreet as possible. A precise pocket is created, the implant is positioned, and your surgeon evaluates placement, symmetry, and overall proportion before closing in layers with dissolvable sutures.

The procedure is typically outpatient. You go home the same day with detailed recovery instructions. For patients traveling in or those who simply want extra comfort, our facility includes a private overnight guest suite — ask the consult team when you schedule.

Risks you should know before your consult

Every surgery carries risks, and we review all of them with you in person. A firm scar shell can form around the implant — called capsular contracture — which can change the shape and cause discomfort. Surgery can correct it. Implants can also leak or rupture over time; broken implants are replaced or removed.

Nipple sensation may increase, decrease, or be lost. Breastfeeding may be affected for some patients. A very rare cancer of the scar tissue around certain implants has been reported — we encourage you to ask about it at your visit. Implants do not last a lifetime. Plan on additional surgery at some point in the future.

Some patients report body-wide symptoms they associate with their implants. We discuss this openly. Understanding these realities before surgery is part of making a confident, informed decision.

Surgery day and early recovery

You arrive at the time confirmed by the surgical team — it is set for your specific case, not a general clinic opening. Bring photo ID, your paperwork, a written list of every medication and supplement you take, and glasses with a case. Wear loose, front-opening clothing and slip-on shoes. Leave jewelry and valuables at home.

After anesthesia, you may not drive yourself home, take a rideshare alone, or leave unaccompanied. A responsible adult drives you home and stays with you for the first twenty-four hours. Your driver checks in with you, stays reachable by phone throughout the day, and receives your discharge instructions in person.

When any written instruction differs from what your surgical team tells you directly, their instructions win. Recovery unfolds over weeks, and your follow-up appointments let your surgeon track healing, answer questions, and adjust care as needed. For Broken Arrow patients, those follow-up visits are the same short drive.

Why the team and the facility matter

Tulsa Surgical Arts operates an AAAHC-accredited surgery center — the same accreditation standard used by ambulatory surgical facilities nationwide. The practice is home to an AACS-certified cosmetic surgery fellowship dedicated to training the next generation of surgeons, which means the clinical environment is built around teaching-level precision and documentation.

Our approach is straightforward: prioritize safety, preserve what makes you uniquely you, and create natural-looking results with careful attention to every detail. Breast augmentation is sized to your frame and decided with you — not chosen from a menu. We encourage you to consult a qualified surgeon before making any surgical decision.
