Dr. Chase Nelson is a fellowship-trained, triple board-certified cosmetic surgeon. With over a decade of surgical experience, Dr. Nelson offers expert care in all areas of cosmetic surgery of the face and body. He prides himself on cultivating a meaningful doctor–patient relationship while facilitating achievement of your aesthetic goals. His medical and surgical training, paired with his artistic eye, allows him to deliver transformational results.

During his otolaryngology — head and neck surgery residency he was trained extensively in nasal surgery and facial plastic surgery, lending to his skillfulness in performing rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. As a cosmetic surgery fellow, he developed a love for — and proficiency in — the full range of body sculpting (liposculpture), breast surgery, tummy tuck, and other procedures. His demeanor, surgical acumen, and devotion to excellent patient care afforded him the invitation to stay at Tulsa Surgical Arts after completing his fellowship.

When out of the office, Dr. Nelson loves the outdoors, watersports, and physical fitness. He and his wife are the proud parents of three children.

Dr. Carisa Champion is a cosmetic surgeon with a passion for enhancing the inherent beauty of her patients from a whole person perspective, helping them look refreshed and natural. With a decade of surgical experience, she specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, utilizing the latest techniques to achieve exceptional results. Known for her compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Champion partners with her patients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and desires.

Education and Involvement

Dr. Champion is recognized for her groundbreaking achievements in medicine, law, and public health. She holds the distinction of being the first individual to simultaneously attend and graduate from medical school, law school, and a master’s program in public health. Her commitment to improving healthcare at multiple levels includes serving as a White House intern and collaborating with the Department of Health and Human Services on various health-related initiatives. Her extensive involvement in national organizations reflects her dedication to health and her patients.

After medical school, Dr. Champion trained in general surgery in Pennsylvania and Florida. During her training she enjoyed working in cosmetic, trauma, reconstructive and wound surgery. After graduation from her general surgery residency, she was accepted into a cosmetic surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Champion specializes in body procedures including mommy makeovers, arms, legs, liposuction, wound surgery and labiaplasty.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Champion has held academic roles, teaching Professional Ethics and Health Law to public health and medical students, and mentoring Health Law students in national competitions. She completed a Surgical Communications Fellowship with the TV show Grey’s Anatomy and wrote for the show highlighting critical issues such as human trafficking. Furthermore, she was the Lead of Patient Education for Care Access, focusing on innovative treatments, and most recently worked for NASA in the Office of the Chief Health and Medical Officer on their standards and policies.

Personal

Dr. Champion is passionate about the intersection of medicine, media, law, and policy, and she continues to advocate for patients both locally and nationally. Outside of her practice, she is actively involved in community outreach and education, sharing her expertise through workshops and seminars. On a personal note, she has a relative obsession with all things Star Wars and enjoys exploring the great outdoors, spending time with her family, and engaging in various artistic pursuits.

Dr. Gutierrez was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and trained in New York City at Columbia University Medical Center, graduating with honors. He further advanced his expertise through rigorous training in maxillofacial trauma, reconstructive head and neck surgery, and temporomandibular joint surgery at Northwell Health in Manhattan and Long Island.

Driven by a passion for aesthetics, Dr. Gutierrez pursued further specialization in cosmetic surgery and is completing his fellowship training under world-class cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Angelo Cuzalina.

During his time at Tulsa Surgical Arts, Dr. Gutierrez has gained extensive experience in complex aesthetic breast surgery, comprehensive body contouring procedures, and advanced facial surgical techniques. He has co-authored multiple publications, including book chapters on simultaneous breast augmentation with mastopexy and various abdominoplasty techniques.

Dr. Gutierrez believes in partnering closely with each patient, taking the time to listen and understand their unique goals in order to deliver personalized, natural-looking results that enhance both confidence and well-being.
