As an accomplished cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Sohn has performed over 1,500 major surgical procedures in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX and Oklahoma City, OK metropolitan areas. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered, compassionate care. He has a reputation for possessing exceptional surgical skills, as well as artistic talent, and for providing excellent patient care. Dr. Sohn understands that each patient is unique and requires creativity and attention to detail to deliver outstanding specialized care. Patients regularly travel from several other states nationwide to receive surgical care from Dr. Sohn. He is double-board certified. Dr. Sohn has a wonderful bedside manner and is especially liked and respected by our staff at Tulsa Surgical Arts.
Upon completing his undergraduate studies at Bucknell University, Dr. Sohn received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. After several years in private practice, Dr. Sohn sought further training by attaining his (M.D.) medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. This was followed by training in general surgery and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Sohn is one of a very rare group of surgeons with multiple fellowship training. He has completed a highly coveted fellowship in orthognathic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburg, followed by two prestigious one-year accredited general cosmetic surgery fellowships under the auspices of Dr. Howard Tobin and Dr. Angelo Cuzalina. Very few surgeons in the world have this much cosmetic surgery training following their surgical residencies.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He practices the full scope of cosmetic facial and body surgery with a special interest in facial and breast aesthetic procedures.
Outside the office, Dr. Sohn maintains an active lifestyle, which includes hunting, fishing, and trail biking. He also enjoys non-active hobbies such as cooking, photography, and playing musical instruments.
