In most cultures across the world, a strong jawline is seen as a beautiful part of the face. When a person gets older, gains weight, or suffers from an injury, the jawline can start to lose definition. To create a stronger-looking jawline, jaw implants can improve the shape of the lower, outer part of the jaw. Depending on your cosmetic goals, we can make the jaw look more feminine or masculine. If you would like to learn more, we encourage you to schedule an appointment at Tulsa Surgical Arts in Tulsa, OK with Dr. Angelo Cuzalina.

Tulsa Surgical Arts Reviews
I was nervous going to see another surgeon. The staff here made me feel comfortable specifically during the consultation Megan went over a few photos with me and shared her own experience which helped me decide what I wanted and needed and discussed the cost. Brandy gave me lymphatic messages which was most helpful after surgery. She took care of my body as it was healing, told me what garment to wear, and worked well with me on scheduling appointments. I had a previous surgery that needed fixed and now my body is finally looking like it should.
I originally had my breast augmentation scheduled with a different doctor and facility, but unfortunately, he retired before my appointment. I was then referred to Tulsa Surgical Arts and I’m so glad I was! From the start, Missi was amazing with scheduling and all things logistics. She is truly the sweetest person and made everything feel seamless. Dr. Gutierrez performed my surgery and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He was kind, knowledgeable, and really took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. Everyone I encountered, from the front desk to the nurses and the surgical team, was incredible. Their bedside manner was top-tier, so personable, caring, and reassuring. I was definitely nervous going in, but they made the entire experience comfortable and positive. Thank you all for the exceptional care!
I can’t say enough about this place. I get botox, laser hair, filler, and a massages here. They are amazing at it all!!i recently got a breast augmentation and the process has been beyond what i expected. Great outcome, simple scheduling and preop process, and the post op girl- Catherine was kind and understanding! She is very gentle and was so confident in her experience with answering my questions. They always give their honest opinions while keeping my goals in mind. I suggest them any time the topic comes up with my mom, friends, and anyone else who asks me!

How Are Jawline Implants Placed?
In one of our private, accredited AAAHC operating rooms, Dr. Cuzalina will start by administering anesthesia or an IV sedative. Once you have completely relaxed, Dr. Cuzalina creates small incisions inside the mouth and inserts the implants through the incisions. When the implants are against the bone, we place small screws to secure the implants. He will close the incisions with dissolvable sutures and use bandages to control bleeding or discharge. Typically, the surgery takes about 1 – 2 hours to complete. You should see noticeable results after the surgery, which will get better as your body starts to heal.

About UsWhat to Expect After Jawline Implant Surgery
Following your procedure, you will experience some swelling and bruising. These symptoms will subside in about 1 – 2 days. You will also have some tightness near the treatment area, which will start to feel more normal as you get used to the implant. For 2 – 10 days, you should avoid food items that require you to chew because this could interfere with your healing. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions that outline how to care for your incisions and reduce discomfort. In addition to caring for your incisions, you should avoid strenuous exercise, and you will need to sleep upright for a few days.
