After completing your consultation, we will perform your DermaSound treatment in one of our private procedure rooms. We will ask you to relax in a comfortable chair while we clean your skin. DermaSound is a 3-in-1 system that removes dead skin cells and refreshes the complexion. During the first part of your procedure, we use water oscillation to help eliminate dead skin cells and bacteria. Next, ultrasound radiofrequency goes deep into the layers of your skin, which helps skin care products penetrate your complexion better. Finally, micro-current therapy promotes cell function, stimulates collagen, and encourages healing. After your treatment, you can resume your normal schedule.
What To Expect With DermaSound
You may experience side effects, such as irritation, redness, or swelling. Often, it feels like a light sunburn. Usually, your symptoms will subside within a week. During this time, you can reduce uncomfortable side effects with nonprescription medications or creams. Additionally, you should avoid excess sun exposure because your skin will be sensitive.
