SWEDISH
This relaxing technique embodies a variety of gentle strokes and kneading with a rhythmic flow. It is intended to ease tension, improve circulation, and induce deep relaxation. Perfect for overall well-being, this classic technique aims to soothe the body and calm the mind.

DEEP TISSUE:
Deep Tissue Massage is commonly used to treat musculoskeletal problems and focuses pressure and deliberate strokes to alleviate discomfort, restore flexibility, and promote relaxation. This specialized therapy supports your body's healing and aids in rebalancing the muscles.

BAMBOO FUSION:
Delight in Bamboo Fusion, a therapeutic technique merging touch with warmed bamboo's revitalizing properties. Utilizing heated bamboo tools and rhythmic massage strokes eases muscle tension, enhances circulation, and fosters profound relaxation. This innovative practice encourages lymphatic drainage, alleviates stress, and leaves you feeling refreshed and invigorated, offering a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern therapeutic benefits.

HOT STONE:
Indulge yourself with a Hot Stone Massage. Strategically placed heated stones are used to employ gentle strokes or intended pressure, releasing muscle tension, enhancing circulation, and easing stiffness. This therapy fosters tranquility and revitalizes your senses.

PRE/POST NATAL:

Expecting moms (pre-natal), enjoy a massage specially tailored to your needs. It can help improve circulation, reduce swelling, relieve muscle tension, and reduce low back and foot pain. Although generally safe, there are certain risk factors and precautions to be aware of.

  • Women with high-risk pregnancies or certain medical conditions, such as preeclampsia, blood clots, edema, high blood pressure, or deep vein thrombosis, should consult with their healthcare provider before scheduling a massage.
  • It is recommended to wait until the second trimester to schedule a massage.
  • New moms (postpartum) benefit your mood and speed up healing. Postpartum massages usually include many of the same elements of regular massages. Women who get a massage after giving birth will likely notice numerous benefits to their body and mood that are associated with massage in general.
  • If you have had a cesarean delivery, talk to both your doctor and massage therapist to be sure it is safe.

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE:

(Looking for Post-op care? Please go to Lymphatic Therapy & Post-op Care)
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) can often be mistaken for regular massage. However, this technique is specialized and uses light skin stretch strokes and repetitive motions to mimic the lymphatic system. This treatment can aid in improving the lymphatic system’s function by encouraging the body's natural pumping motion to remove excess fluid and waste buildup. In turn it can reduce swelling, aid in a detox journey, improve energy levels, and improve general health and well-being. This technique is effective for individuals dealing with autoimmune disorders, injury, pre/post-natal swelling, or individuals in search of general wellness.

Our therapists are dedicated to providing clients with the best possible care and experience.

Absolutely love Dr C and all the staff I’ve met at Tulsa Surgical Arts and BellaRoma Spa. Such a nice and welcoming place every visit. Soo happy with my results.

I had never been to a place as elaborate as this place looked. I thought this backwoods hick & this place is like oil & water. I shouldn’t be here. These people will probably be so stuck up (sorry, but I did), but it was just the opposite. I was treated by these beautiful people from the front desk, to all the way to the OR, to beyond in my after care, & even late nights with nothing but kindness, & smiles galore. Thank you for making this homemaker feel special. Two thumbs up for Dr. Cuzalina & his staff!

About Us
How often should I schedule a massage?

Typically, patients might schedule one massage per week but there aren’t standard guidelines for the frequency of massages. Our massage experts may be able to recommend a schedule and duration of massage sessions that will work best for your needs. Massages for certain injuries or underlying conditions may require more frequent sessions.

Does the body release toxins during a massage?

Yes. Throughout the process of the massage, the muscles may release a combination of lactic acid, metabolic byproducts, and waste, which allows the muscles to relax and return to full health.

How does a massage affect the body?

A therapeutic massage can increase blood circulation, increasing the overall health of the body. Additionally, it relaxes the soft tissue in the area, including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments.
